China willing to build new innovative, inclusive partnership

China is willing to work with all parties within the framework of the Global Development Initiative to build a new industrial revolution partnership that is future-oriented, innovative and inclusive as well as strengthen cooperation in industrialization and digitalization, the country's top industry regulator said.

Jin Zhuanglong, minister of industry and information technology, said in a speech via video link that efforts will also be made to promote stronger, green and healthy global development at the Global Development Initiative Partnership on New Industrial Revolution Symposium held in Xiamen, Fujian province on Monday.

Jin called for a push to stimulate innovation vitality and promote the digital transformation of manufacturing industry, adhere to openness and inclusiveness, as well as maintain the stability of the industrial and supply chains.

Meanwhile, efforts are needed to establish communication platforms and align strategic policy standards, as well as solidify the talent foundation for industrial development, Jin added.

The symposium also held a launch ceremony for the Global Development Initiative New Industrial Revolution Partnership Network, with 88 institutions from different regions around the world joining the network.
