TEHRAN- The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman on Monday rejected the claims that Iran had attacked an Israeli ship, according to the official news agency IRNA.

On Saturday, the captain of the Liberian-flagged oil tanker Campo Square confirmed an attack on the ship, saying the ship sustained minor damage caused by an airborne object on Feb 10 while sailing through the Arabian Sea

Nasser Kanaani made the remarks in response to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's accusation on Sunday that Iran is "responsible" for a reported attack on an oil tanker last week.
