DPRK ruling party holds meeting on military tasks

SEOUL – The ruling Workers' Party of Korea of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) convened an enlarged meeting on Monday to discuss this year's military and political tasks, the country's official news agency reported Tuesday.
The meeting of the Central Military Commission, presided over by Kim Jong-un, the party's general secretary and chairman of the State Affairs Commission, also focused on the outlook for army building.

Those tasks include enhancing preparedness for war and revising the army's internal regulations.
