Hong Kong’s M+ art museum will host a grand exhibition of renowned Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama from Nov 12, 2022 to May 14, 2023, giving art lovers in the city a dazzling visual feast of her avant-garde vision.

Titled Yayoi Kusama: 1945 to Now, the exhibit will feature more than 200 of Kusama's masterpieces, including paintings, sculptures, and installations. It’s the largest retrospective of the Japanese cultural icon in Asia outside Japan, showcasing how she "creates art for the healing of all mankind".

Born in 1929, Kusama is one of the most influential Asian artists in the history of contemporary art and is renowned for her ground-breaking artworks and astonishing creativity.

Famous for applying eye-catching dots in her works, Kusama has been hailed as the "Queen of polka dots".
