As the big day for Hong Kong – July 1, the day when the city returned to the motherland 25 years ago – draws near, taxis formed the figures ‘25’ in Central to mark the occasion on Tuesday.
Fishing boats with celebratory banners and flags meanwhile paraded in the Victoria Harbour the same day.
Residents of different ages were seen appreciating the celebratory activities and taking photos with them.
China Daily’s Andy Chong took the photos.
