CBA: Xinjiang, Shandong enjoy CBA big wins

ZHUJI, China - Two big wins came from the Xinjiang Flying Tigers and the Shandong Heroes in the CBA here on Wednesday.

In the other game, Guangdong Southern Tigers cruised past Liaoning Flying Leopards 118-115

Five players were in double-digits as Xinjiang overcame the Beijing Ducks 106-88.

Donatas Motiejunas had 24 points for Xinjiang, Zhou Qi added 23 points and 12 rebounds, while Qi Lin got 15. Jonathan Gibson led Beijing with 23 points, followed by 22 from Fang Shuo.

Lester Hudson had 32 points and 13 assists, and six of his teammates recorded double-digit points, leading Shandong to a 115-99 win over the Fujian Sturgeons.

Andrew Nicholson led Fujian with 35 points and 11 rebounds. Only two other players scored in double-digits for Fujian.

In the other four games, Guangdong Southern Tigers cruised past Liaoning Flying Leopards 118-115, and the Zhejiang Lions bagged their fifth straight CBA win after beating the Jiangsu Dragons 94-90 with five players scoring in double-digits.

The Qingdao Eagles' six game winning streak was snapped by the Sichuan Blue Whales, 110-109, with Marcus Hunt's free throw in the last second, while Jimmer Fredette played a leading role in helping Shanghai Sharks overturn Guangzhou Loong Lions 98-93 to end their five-game CBA losing streak.
