A tale of two cities: 40 years of Shenzhen-HK cooperation

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. As the trailblazer in reform and opening-up, the southern Chinese city has transformed from a fishing village to an international technology and innovation hub.

Shenzhen and Hong Kong have been collaborating deeply in the economy, trade, technology, talent and other fields in the past 40 years, toward their mutual development.

Now the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area provides new opportunities for them. With the Greater Bay Area thriving, the tale of the two cities will leave a new legacy of development.
