Suzhou to host 2020 Chinese Super League title fight

BEIJING - The Chinese Super League (CSL) unveiled on its official Weibo account on Friday that the championship competition of the second phase of CSL will be held in Suzhou, east China's Jiangsu province. Meanwhile, Dalian in northeast China's Liaoning province will launch the relegation fight.

The second stage of CSL, scheduled from October 16 to November 12, adopts a two-legged knockout format with each team playing six games to decide their final rankings of the season

According to regulations, the last-placed team will be the only one automatic movers. In contrast, the other relegated team and promotion spots will be decided between the 15th place of CSL and the second tier's second place in a two-legged play-off, which will be held in the Suzhou division on November 18 and 22.
