HK sees 1 more COVID-19 case, tally at 1,108

HONG KONG - Hong Kong's Center for Health Protection (CHP) reported on Friday one more confirmed case of COVID-19, taking the city's tally to 1,108.

The new patient was a 58-year-old woman, whose brother and his wife were diagnosed at the end of May, according to the CHP in a statement.

The CHP said it is still investigating recent cluster infections involving two residential buildings in Sha Tin, urging residents to remain alert, keep social distancing and avoid unnecessary outbound trips.

During the past 24 hours, five more COVID-19 patients were discharged from the hospital, bringing the total number of recovery to 1,060, according to the Hospital Authority.
