Jiangsu center Wu to marry volleyball star after Olympics

NANJING - 26-year-old Jiangsu Dragons center Wu Guanxi said that he would marry Chinese volleyball star Zhang Changning after the later finished her Tokyo Olympics task.

"She will go to Tokyo to take part in the Olympics, and the wedding ceremony will take place after that," said Wu in an on-line live show.

Wu is confident of his career with the hope of getting into the Chinese national team.

"I will try my best to become a national team member, but that will require hard working, opportunity and telent," Wu said.

Wu averaged 13.3 points and 7.7 rebounds for Jiangsu for the first part of the 2019-2020 CBA season.
