BERLIN - The first meeting of two of the Bundesliga's most hailed stars couldn't be more delicate.

Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland and Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski might represent different generations but this Tuesday evening, all eyes will be on the 19-year-old Norwegian and the 31-year-old Pole as their teams battle for nothing less than the German league championship.

The highly anticipated duel between the country's record champion and the Blacks and Yellows in the Dortmund arena will be played under unusual circumstances due to the coronavirus crisis.

Having scored 30 percent of his goals after counter-attacks, Haaland has provided sufficient proof of his outstanding sprinting qualities. Against Paris Saint-Germain, he ran 60 meters in a remarkable 6.64 seconds.

The Bayern spearhead, on the contrary, is more the master of the box, with only four percent.

While Lewandowski has scored five of his 27 league goals with his head, the 1.94-meter-tall rival is far from being an aerial powerhouse. The former RB Salzburg player has scored all his 10 league goals with either his left or right foot.

Lewandowski lurks in the penalty box, running onto crosses and passes seemingly out of nowhere and always finds a promising spot to finish.

The Bayern striker has not only worked on his penalty strategy but developed into a specialist for free kicks. When taking 31 of his 34 penalties, the Pole waited for the goalkeeper to react before shooting.
