Abbas warns Israel against implementing annexation plan in West Bank

RAMALLAH — Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday warned Israel against implementing its plans of annexing Palestinian lands in the West Bank.

Abbas's warning was made in an online speech he addressed before the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit that was held online on Monday, according to the WAFA news agency report.

If the occupation (Israel) implements its plans of annexing Palestinian lands, we will disengage from all our commitments and agreements

"If the occupation (Israel) implements its plans of annexing Palestinian lands, we will disengage from all our commitments and agreements," Abbas told the members of the NAM.

In his online speech, Abbas called on NAM members, the international community and the United Nations Security Council to bear their responsibilities towards ensuring the enforcement of the international law.
