What makes Hong Kong a hit among Central Asian students?
Hong Kong has become a top study destination for Central Asian students in recent years, with regional applications surging. China Daily spoke with Khumoyun Nasipkulov, an Uzbek finance student in Hong Kong. Drawn to the city’s status as an international financial hub, he said its generous scholarships, plentiful career options and the opportunities it provides to gain deep insights into the Greater Bay Area and the Chinese mainland were his key motivations. He added that the four years he has spent in Hong Kong have been the best years of his life, and that he hopes to serve as a bridge linking Uzbekistan and the HKSAR upon graduation.
