Mascots of the 15th National Games, not just a flash in the pan
Liu Pingyun, head of the design team of the official emblem and mascots for the #15thNationalGames, the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympic Games said in an exclusive interview with China Daily that the popularity of mascots like "Xiyangyang", "Lerongrong", and "Bing Dwen Dwen" reflects the ongoing development and maturity of China's intellectual property consumption market. Beyond major event mascots, animation IPs such as "#NeZha" and designer IPs like "#Labubu" also show significant potential for innovation.
