HONG KONG – The Hong Kong Computer and Communications Festival – one of the city’s largest technology exhibitions – kicked off at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on Friday.
In addition to discounts on diverse fields such as computers, communications, electronic products and innovative technology, this year’s festival, which runs through Monday, offers a wide range of AI, e-sports elements and experiential activities.
The admission fee is HK$35. Each paid attendee will get a scratch-and-win lucky card with instant prizes, in denominations ranging from HK$10 to HK$500. These vouchers can be used at participating booths throughout the venue.
Industry experts will host AI forums and workshops throughout the event.
Inventions to explore
The 12th International Exhibition of Inventions also began on Friday at Guangzhou’s China Import and Export Fair Complex.
Themed “Invention and Innovation to Build High-Quality Development”, the three-day event will showcase over 3,700 domestic and overseas leading inventions from 30 countries and regions.
There will be seven special pavilions, including “New Quality Productivity Development”, “Defence Technology”, “Research Achievements of Higher Education Institutions” and “Invention Achievements of Innovative Craftsman.”
Future of materials & manufacturing
Formnext Asia Shenzhen, South China’s leading trade fair for additive manufacturing technologies, will begin at Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center on Wednesday.
Comprehensively upgraded, this year’s event is expected to draw over 350 leading exhibitors and 30,000 professional buyers. The three-day event will introduce five dedicated zones covering 3D printing, AI, energy storage, connectors and robotics.
The Formnext Asia Shenzhen Maker Day will be held on Thursday, aiming to bridge the global maker community with the companies, technologies and industrial expertise behind the tools they use.
Culture meets commerce
The 5th China (Shenzhen) International Creative New Products and Pop Toys Expo is set to begin at Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center on Wednesday.
Over 35,000 new creative and trendy cultural products will be on display during the three-day event, which is expected to gather more than 60,000 professional visitors and over 800 exhibitors.
Divided into six major themed zones, the fair will enable one-stop, full-industry-chain resource integration. Hall 5 has been dedicated to the AI toy-themed zone, responding to the vast prospects of emotional consumption. Another highlight is the IP licensing zone, which brings together high-quality IP resources around the world.
The 14th China (Shenzhen) International IP Licensing Industry Expo will be held concurrently.
