HONG KONG – The 19th China Brand Festival – China’s first brand gathering jointly initiated by 2,000 brand entrepreneurs – will begin in Shenzhen on Thursday.

The five-day festival will feature nine major events, fifty forums, and a series of brand-release conferences, with more than 10,000 participants expected to attend, including renowned domestic and foreign brands and industry leaders, with a focus on “AI and Going Global”.

The 18th China Brand Festival Women’s Forum will run concurrently, alongside activities such as the National Trend Intangible Cultural Heritage Ethnic Show and the Asia-Pacific Economic and Trade Women’s Economic Forum, which will delve into key topics within the women’s industry.

Fusion of animation, AI, art toys

The 15th China International Animation Copyright Fair will take place from Aug 8 to 11 in Dongguan, known as "Capital of art toys in China”. More than 600 companies from more than 40 countries and regions will participate, presenting a record-breaking collection of over 2,000 animation intellectual properties.

Industry exchange activities like entrepreneurship and investment forums will be key features. Additionally, the event will spotlight the fusion of AI technology with animation and art toys, enabling audiences to experience multiple movies through virtual interactive technology.

Cosplay parades with a thousand cosplayers will entertain attendees, with popular cosplayers and influencers engaging with the audience.

Hydrogen energy

The 3rd World Hydrogen Energy Industry Expo is set to open on Friday in Guangzhou.

The three-day event aims to promote global market exchange and serve as a platform for international technical collaboration in the hydrogen energy and fuel cell sector.

More than 20 leading scholars, including a Nobel laureate in Chemistry and the president of the International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association, will gather to explore cutting-edge technology topics.

Running concurrently with the World Battery and Energy Storage Industry Expo, the event will host over 2,000 exhibitors, welcoming more than 200,000 professional visitors from industries such as automotive, transportation, energy storage, and electricity.
