
A ceremony marking the inauguration of the first group of national security education instructors from a leading charitable organization took place at the Hong Kong Science Museum on Wednesday.
Po Leung Kuk, one of the city’s most prominent charitable organizations, is recognized for its wide-ranging social services and educational institutions. The organization has launched an extensive national security education program aimed at helping students understand the Hong Kong SAR National Security Law. The program encourages active cooperation with schools and collaboration with teachers to foster a rational and positive understanding of national security and related laws, while also enhancing awareness of the importance of national security and law-abiding behavior.
