Nepal mudslide: Death toll reaches 1,118, another 4,858 missing, police say

KATHMANDU ― The Nepal Police said on Wednesday that the death toll from the deadly mudslide on Aug 26 has risen to 1,118, with 4,858 people still missing.
The disaster was triggered by a sudden glacier collapse in Nepal's border area.
