HONG KONG – The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) on Thursday launched its highly-anticipated August mega fairs at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, marking the start of a five-day public celebration of food, beauty, wellness and home living.

The three events — the HKTDC Food Expo, the Beauty & Wellness Expo and the Home Delights Expo — opened their doors on Thursday and will run concurrently until Monday, offering visitors a comprehensive lifestyle experience.

The centerpiece of the program, the Food Expo, is expected to showcase a wide array of international cuisines.

Alongside the public fair, the Food Expo PRO, running from Thursday to Saturday, is open exclusively to trade buyers for its first two days, with the final day welcoming both trade professionals and the general public.

The Hong Kong International Tea Fair, also running from Thursday to Saturday, is fully open to both trade visitors and the public this year, providing a platform for tea enthusiasts and industry players alike.

This year’s fairs are unified under the theme “Live Well. Stay Well,” placing a strong emphasis on holistic wellness and smart living. The Beauty & Wellness Expo is a key component of this focus, offering a wide range of health, beauty, and personal care products.

In addition to the consumer fairs, the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products commenced on Thursday. Jointly organized by the Modernized Chinese Medicine International Association, the HKTDC, and 10 leading research institutions, the conference will run from Thursday to Saturday, providing a key platform for industry dialogue and innovation.
