
The West Kowloon Cultural District opened over the weekend Hong Kong's largest cabaret festival, showcasing cross-cultural songs, dances, and storytelling that cater to diverse tastes with the full energy, joy, and spontaneity of threatrical entertainment.
Taking place at the Xiqu Centre Atrium with an alternative night-out option, the inaugural WestK Cabaret Festival provides a stage for 12 groups composed local and overseas artists from May 30 to June 7. They include headline stars from Broadway, Paris and London’s West End and colorful divas from the world of drag.
The performances include circus acts, live bands, acappella groups, musical theater highlights, tap dancing, swing, and Hungarian folk dances.
