Motorcyclist dead in Tai Po crash

A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident in Hong Kong’s Tai Po District on Saturday night when his machine crashed into a fallen tree, police said on Sunday.
The 38-year-old male rider was traveling along Yuen Shin Road towards Sha Tin when the accident occurred, the Hong Kong Police Force said in a statement on Sunday.
He sustained head injuries and was pronounced dead at Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital at 11.29 pm.
The police have appealed for information from potential witnesses.
