
Hong Kong's tourism market saw a surge in visitors during the Labor Day Golden Week holiday, boosting the city's vibrant tourism scene with strong consumer spending.
Timothy Chui, executive director of the Hong Kong Tourism Association, said in a local media report that the industry saw business increase, with hotel occupancy rates reaching 90 percent.

Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government officials earlier said that they expected nearly one million visitors from the Chinese mainland during the holidays.
