Twelve people were injured after a minibus collided with a truck in Tsing Yi on Saturday night, police said.

The crash happened at around 9:30 pm while the minibus was traveling near Cheung Ching Estate and hit the truck which was parked on the side of the road.

The minibus driver was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving while the injured were brought to Princess Margaret and Yan Chai hospitals, local media reported.

Several ambulances were dispatched to the scene, and police are investigating the cause of the accident.
