This year's National Security Education Day opened on Wednesday morning at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. 

The Hong Kong National Security Committee organized the opening ceremony along with a series of school and community activities to enhance the entire community's awareness and sense of responsibility in safeguarding national security. 

National Security Education Day, observed on April 15 each year, was established under the National Security Law enacted in 2015.
