S. Korean ex-president Yoon's legal team files appeal against insurrection sentence

SEOUL - South Korea's former president Yoon Suk-yeol's legal team filed an appeal Tuesday against the first-instance verdict on his insurrection charges, Yonhap News Agency reported.
Yoon was sentenced to life in prison on charges of insurrection, live footage showed last Thursday.
