Two artistically-designed libraries have officially opened in Guangzhou's Huangpu district, enriching cultural and leisure resources for both tourists and local residents.
The Maokafu Art Library (Jingxia Branch) (猫卡夫艺术分馆(迳下分馆)) is nestled within the scenic Jingxia Village, renowned for its rustic views of lakeside canola and sunflower fields. Inspired by a "feline way of living" and integrating the literary themes of Franz Kafka, the library houses over 3,000 books. Its collection features titles on art and philosophy, alongside titles of interest to tourists.

The Haisi Suidong Branch Library (海丝穗东分馆) is themed around the Maritime Silk Road. This three-story library boasts a collection of 10,000 books covering maritime history, intangible cultural heritage, and classic literature. It also features a digital system for borrowing books as well as regular themed activities, enhancing community engagement.
