SOCHI, Russia -- A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC), led by Liu Haixing, minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended the 11th Meeting of the dialogue mechanism between the ruling parties of China and Russia from Wednesday to Saturday in Sochi, Russia.

Both sides agreed that the ruling parties of China and Russia should follow the important consensus reached by Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin, strengthen communication on policies and visions, promote practical cooperation, deepen exchanges at all levels, coordinate more closely in multilateral areas, and advance the relations between the two parties and the two countries to higher levels.

During the meeting, Liu exchanged views with Dmitry Medvedev, chairman of the United Russia party, and attended the standing committee meeting of the "Forum of Supporters of the Struggle Against Modern Practices of Neocolonialism -- For the Freedom of Nations!"
