Chinese shares close higher Thursday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks closed higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.22 percent to 3,922.41 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.22 percent higher at 13,025.45 points.
