Chinese shares higher at midday Tuesday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks were higher in the morning session on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.11 percent to 3,888 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index went up 0.74 percent to 12,532.51 points at midday.
