China's new generation of enterprise software has become highly competitive in the global market, and is poised to lead worldwide digital and intelligent transformation in the era of artificial intelligence — much like China's mobile internet platforms and new energy vehicles — according to Wang Wenjing, chairman and CEO of Yonyou Network Technology Co Ltd.
Enterprises, as the main drivers of AI applications, are ushering in an unprecedented strategic opportunity for development, Wang said at the company's annual conference in Shenzhen, Guangdong province.
He emphasized that four key factors will accelerate China's leadership in AI adoption: China's advanced digital business environment, breakthroughs in underlying AI technologies such as large language models, enthusiastic embrace of AI within Chinese enterprises, and active promotion and support from government policies.
"It is foreseeable that Chinese enterprises will be at the forefront of global AI adoption," Wang said.
Businesses today are most focused on how to effectively implement AI — with clear goals around improving efficiency, reducing costs, enabling precise operations, and managing risks. To achieve successful AI integration, Wang highlighted that while accessing or deploying large models is essential, it is not sufficient.

Enterprises should upgrade to a new generation of digital-intelligent enterprise software, strengthen data governance and knowledge management, and adopt both general large models and vertical-specific models, Wang added.
