Chinese shares close higher Tuesday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks closed higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.39 percent to 3,457.75 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.11 percent higher at 10,476.29 points.
