The Chinese government has completed large-scale and well-organized evacuation efforts in Iran, with a total of 3,125 Chinese citizens being safely evacuated from the country, Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said on Monday.

"At present, all Chinese citizens who wish to leave Iran have been evacuated to safe areas," Guo told a daily news briefing.

At the same time, Guo said that the Chinese embassy in Israel has assisted in organizing the safe departure of 500 Chinese citizens from Israel and has also helped some British, Indian and Polish citizens to leave safely.

Noting there are still some Chinese citizens who choose to remain in the area, Guo reminded them to prioritize their safety.
