Celebrating HKSAR's anniversary at PLA garrison's barracks

HONG KONG - The three barracks of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) garrison in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region opened to residents from Saturday to Sunday as part of the celebrations to mark the 28th anniversary of the city’s return to the motherland.

Visitors watched flag-raising ceremonies, military band performances and demonstrations of combat drills and equipment, as well as other interactive activities, including training simulations, tours of the garrison’s exhibition center, cultural performances and a chance to taste soldiers’ meals.
