Chinese shares close lower Friday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks closed lower on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 1.29 percent to 3,364.83 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 1.76 percent lower at 10,687.55 points.
