Multimedia editors from members of the Asia News Network (ANN) concluded their two-day meeting on Tuesday in Hong Kong with an opportunity to exchange views with the city’s lawmakers and social media influencers.

Hosted by China Daily Asia Pacific, the meeting gathered editors from eight countries including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, and Vietnam to discuss effective ways to share video content among the ANN newsrooms.

During the ANN meeting, the editors also took turns to update each other on their newsroom operations and how they are adapting to trends in news consumption with the growing popularity of social media platforms. They also discussed new collaborative projects to pursue.
