People in the Chinese capital woke up to unhealthy levels of air pollution on Saturday, with fog covering the air.

As per the air quality index, at 12:45 pm, PM2.5 concentration in Beijing was 109.5µg/m³, which is 21.9 times the annual World Health Organization air quality guideline value.
