Hang Seng Index closes 0.31% lower

HONG KONG - Hong Kong stock market ended lower Tuesday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index down 0.31 percent to close at 16,647.34 points.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index fell 0.41 percent to end at 5,852.61 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index rose 0.09 percent to 3,342.52 points.
