Chinese shares close higher Friday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks closed higher on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.12 percent to 3,032.63 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.5 percent higher at 9,252.25 points.
