More than 120,000 cultural products vied for attention from global buyers at an annual cultural industry fair in Shenzhen on Thursday, showcasing the potential of the array of dynamic brands from China.

The 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair kicked off in the special economic zone in Guangdong province and will run until May 27.

The fair, which features eight pavilions with over 6,000 exhibitors from China and overseas, has been serving as a significant event to facilitate global cultural trade and investment.

In the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area pavilion, specialties such as Dongguan’s toys, Foshan’s lion dances and Jiangmen’s dried orange peels stood out among the fair's highlights. While cheongsams designed by Hong Kong artists and TV productions from Macao also attracted the attention of many visitors.
