Ma Ying-jeou concludes mainland trip

BEIJING - Ma Ying-jeou and his delegation on Thursday morning left Beijing for Taiwan, concluding an 11-day trip to the mainland.

Leading a delegation of young people from Taiwan, Ma arrived in Shenzhen on April 1. They visited Guangdong, Shaanxi and Beijing, participating in activities such as a ceremony in Shaanxi to pay homage to Huangdi, also known as the Yellow Emperor, a legendary common ancestor of Chinese people.

Ma and his delegation also visited Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou and Peking University in Beijing to carry out exchanges with mainland college students.
