Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu, leading the new administration, is tasked with translating this vision into measurable progress. As a vital cog in global trade, Hong Kong’s logistics sector must undergo a dynamic transformation to stay ahead of the curve. The city’s competitive edge is not just a matter of local pride but a critical component of our nation’s developmental trajectory. 

In the wake of the Global Trade Modernization Index 2024, where Hong Kong held an admirable fourth place, it is apparent that resting on our laurels is not an option. Despite our achievements, the index unveiled critical areas for enhancement, showing the need to fortify our logistics hub.

Embracing digitalization and technology adoption

Advancing our logistics through digitalization is no longer futuristic — it is imperative.
