PARIS, - Huawei France remains confident about the investigation by the French authority, the company said Thursday in a statement.

"Huawei has cooperated fully with the investigations and will continue to do so. Huawei has been in France for over 20 years, and has been in compliance with all the French laws and regulations," according to the statement.

Huawei's office in the Ile-de-France region has been searched by French financial prosecutors on suspicion of probity violations, AFP reported Thursday by quoting a judicial source, without offering further details.

According to Huawei's website, the Chinese technology giant has been awarded the Top Employer 2024 in France and Europe, respectively, for the fourth and fifth consecutive years.
