Hang Seng Index closes 2.52% higher

HONG KONG - Hong Kong stock market ended higher on Thursday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index up 2.52 percent to close at 17,043.53.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index jumped 2.87 percent to end at 5,764.77, and the Hang Seng Tech Index surged 3.41 percent to close at 3,763.9.
