Hang Seng Index closes 1.25 percent lower on Friday

HONG KONG - Hong Kong's stock market ended lower on Friday, with the benchmark Hang Seng Index down 1.25 percent to close at 16,830.30 points.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index lost 1.64 percent to end at 5,761.73 points.
