MADRID - Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti on Tuesday ruled out any moves in the January transfer window to solve a possible goalscoring problem.
Real Madrid has netted a very respectable 28 goals in 12 La Liga matches and three games in the Champions League, but 13 of those goals have been scored by midfielder Jude Bellingham, while Joselu is next highest scorer with five goals, while Vinicius Jr has three and Rodrygo two.
I don't think we will do anything in winter, because our injured players (Eder Militao, Thibaut Courtois and Aurelien Tchouameni) will be back for the second half of the season. I'm not sure exactly, but they will be back before the end of the season.

It does look as if Ancelotti is missing Karim Benzema, who moved to Saudi Arabia this summer, but when asked in his press conference ahead of Wednesday's Champions League tie at home to Sporting Braga, if the club would move to sign anyone in January, he said it was unlikely.
"I don't think we will do anything in winter, because our injured players (Eder Militao, Thibaut Courtois and Aurelien Tchouameni) will be back for the second half of the season. I'm not sure exactly, but they will be back before the end of the season."
"We won't do anything this winter, but I hope we do in summer," said the Real Madrid coach.

With Real Madrid perhaps lacking a forward, it is surprising that Brahim Diaz has seen so little action after his return from three years at AC Milan. The former Manchester City youngster has played just 120 minutes this season after three impressive campaigns in Italy.
"I know he is a player who can contribute, but there is a lot of competition," Ancelotti explained.
"I have read that I have something against him and that he is already sentenced, but that is not true. I haven't sentenced anyone. He is a professional, and he will have a role to play," assured the coach.

Camavinga extends stay till 2029
Also on Tuesday, the La Liga club announced that French international midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has signed a contract extension until the end of June 2029.
The deal sees Camavinga add two years onto his contract with the club, with his previous arrangement due to expire in 2027.
Camavinga joined Real Madrid from Rennes in the summer of 2021 when he was just 18 years old, and has so far made 114 first team appearances, operating in a variety of roles in midfield and also at left back, although he has commented that is not his preferred position.
