Hong Kong's foreign currency reserves up in July

HONG KONG - Hong Kong's foreign currency reserve assets rose to $421.6 billion in July from $417.3 billion in June, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced on Monday.

According to the HKMA, there were no unsettled foreign exchange contracts at the end of July. The reserve assets represent over five times the currency in circulation.
