A flag-raising ceremony was held on Wednesday morning at Kowloon Mosque and Islamic Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui to mark the 26th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).

The event was jointly hosted by the Incorporated Trustees of the Islamic Community Fund of Hong Kong and several Islamic organizations based in the city. Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs Alice Mak Mei-kuen attended the ceremony.

The Islamic community also marked the Eid al-Adha festival on Wednesday.
