DOHA - Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand said that the Tunisian fans have created a home-like atmosphere for their World Cup Group D rivals during their goalless draw on Tuesday.

"We have great respect for Tunisian fans. They created a perfect atmosphere for Tunisia," he said after the match.

Denmark, who reached the semifinals at last year's Euro 2020, struggled in their attack in front of the one-sided boisterous crowd, who cheered every touch of the Tunisian players while booing every move of the Danes.

Tunisia coach Jalel Kadri said that the big crowd support was very helpful in their opening match.

"It lifted our spirits," Kadri said. "Mentally it gives us a great lift. It really helped us. But tactically and physically we also played very well."
