ZHUJI, China - The Jilin Northeast Tigers and the Guangzhou Loong Lions enjoyed big wins in the second round of the 2020-21 Chinese Basketball Association on Wednesday.

Dominique Jones scored a game-high 40 points, plus 13 rebounds and seven assists for Jilin

Dominique Jones made his season debut to lead the Northeast Tigers past the Beijing Royal Fighters 109-101, putting an end to Beijing's four-game winning streak.

Jones scored a game-high 40 points, plus 13 rebounds and seven assists for Jilin. Jiang Weize pocketed 25 points, while Jiang Yuxing had 16 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Zhang Fan of Beijing finished with 28 points, while Yu Changdong added 16 points and 16 rebounds.

In other action, the Loong Lions overwhelmed the Tianjin Pioneers 96-85. Chen was the lone player of the match with a double-double of 10 points and 11 assists, while Zhu Mingzhen led Guangzhou with a game-high 20 points.

In the other three games on tap, the Nanjing Monkey Kings beat the Jiangsu Dragons 120-113, the Xinjiang Flying Tigers defeated Liaoning Flying Leopards 118-111, and the Shandong Heroes smashed the Qingdao Eagles 111-93.
