SEOUL - Bundesliga side RB Salzburg's striker Hwang Hee-chan is close to joining German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, South Korean media reported.
RB Leipzig is keen on finding a new forward as a long-term replacement for 24-year-old Timo Werner, who recently signed for Premier League side Chelsea.

"The official announcement will be released soon," said South Korean media outlet KBS.
Hwang contributed 16 goals and 21 assists in 38 games across all competitions for RB Salzburg this season, including an impressive strike against Liverpool at Anfield in the UEFA Champions League.
